Then look for one that have actual plot.. stuff that have several arc instead of going all around the place without goal in mind. stuff where the protag ain't dumbly OP but just strong. In my experience majority of Isekai tend to fall hard once it went SoL route. Just read stuff that doesn't conform to that standard like Isekai Yakyokyuu, Mushoku tensei, Wrong way to use Healing magic or Saihate no Paladin. Or stick to the comedic one like KonoSuba and To be power in Darkness.. . To be fair Overlord and Youjo Senki also used a lot of comedy technique called misunderstanding technique.. those two are quite good for their own reason too

I dont mind with harem things in isekai , i just hate the OP mc / cheat power plot I miss the 90's isekai plot ( Where the mc dont have any cheat power , and have to struggle to survive in the new world )
